Tiffany and Irvin had the perfect fall wedding. Although Colorado isn't known for predictability, we fortunately had a beautiful day. I have to admit I was a bit concerned over fall weddings initially - the browns, reds, and oranges, but Tiffany coordinated everything so well that it looked awesome. I especially loved her choices in flowers - her bouquet was fantastic and full of color! I truly think every bridal bouquet needs lots of color - it's what makes it fun!

As a valentine for myself, I have decided to mercilessly beg for votes again. This year, the gazette has finally added a photography category to their "Best of the Springs" contest. Not only have they added it, but it is specifically for wedding photography! I am so very excited. I absolutely loved the support I got last year with Fox 21's A-list (came in 3rd), and winning with the Gazette could only be sweeter!
So now I must ask for you to forgive me by asking for you to vote for us and of course any other categories you enjoy. The wedding photographer vote is in the "city life" category. Click the link below to get started! And thank you all for your support!
VOTE NOW for Duval Digital
Deadline for votes is March 14, 2010!

As we enter a new year, it's time to start doing engagement sessions with our upcoming brides and grooms. I'll start this off with a couple we photographed in mid-January up at Fox Run Park in Black Forest. I really like this location - it usually isn't crowded and they have a great landscape. I love couples like Jessie and Eric because they are so at ease with each other - you can just see how much they are in love and it really makes it a joy to photograph them.

The second of our Briarhurst weddings. Beth & Ronny were quite possibly the easiest couple to work with. They were up for anything including walking through mud. (There was a tiny drainage problem that day.)

Whew! What a turnout at Bridal Extravaganza 2010 yesterday! Cheyenne Mountain Resort was bustling with wedding excitement. I apologize sincerely if you were unable to talk with us about your wedding day, it was a little busier than we had thought it might be. All around a good day and we had a blast talking with you all about your wedding plans. We received a lot of inquiries and will be scheduling consultations during the next couple weeks.
So, here are a few photos of our booth if you missed us: (Click to view the full image.)
