I'm such a slacker...

So sorry about the lapse in time between posts. I can only say life has been busy. We found out I am pregnant and due May 3rd. Since then I have spent half of my time sleeping (yes, apparently you do need to sleep for two) and the other half of my time trying desperately to keep up with my business. We have also unfortunately decided that we will not be taking any April or May weddings because of the baby. We are also limiting bookings for the rest of the year just because we've never done this before. Any tips?

October was a relatively hectic month with the Haunted Mines.

Then we had our fantastic vacation to Disney. Our last Disney trip as children. Next time we get to be the adults. No one looks forward to that I am sure. Finally we took off to Massachusetts and Pennsylvania in December for the holidays and we're still trying to get back to normal life. Who knew planning for a baby took so much work. But, here is another wedding from 2009.

Jenn & Mike's Wedding 6-20-09

June 20th had us jet-setting off to the other side of the country for a beautiful wedding in the vineyards of Long Island. Despite the rain, Mike & Jenn's wedding was a beautiful testimony to the kind of people they really are. It truly was an honor to photograph their day.

Jenn & Scott's Wedding 6-14-09

June 14th, Jenn & Scott wed at the Cliff House in Manitou Springs. It was a very intimate and special wedding as you could feel the love around them. What a perfect wedding for a perfect couple - all the best!

Brandie & Matthew's Wedding 5-30-09

On May 30th, Brandie and Matthew had a picturesque mountain wedding at the Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, CO. It poured all morning but as we all know and love Colorado, it let up just in time for the staff to run down, wipe off chairs and get the wedding off to a fantastic start!

Whew! It has been quite a busy year. And although I really wanted to keep up with the blog, my beautiful brides came first. However, we are winding down this wedding season which means lots of time to update the website, blog, and to just relax before next year!

I wanted to express our deepest gratitude in helping us win 3rd place in Fox 21's "Best of" competition back in May. We couldn't have done it without our friends, family, and clients and we love all of you! We are so proud and your comments were just the icing on the cake. Thank you!

Finally, I'll be putting up some highlights from this wedding season. It will take a while to get everyone up here, but I will get it done!

To start things off, Mike & Jenna were married May 23 at the Pinery. The place was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter couple. All the best to you both!
