Jenn & Mike's Wedding 6-20-09

June 20th had us jet-setting off to the other side of the country for a beautiful wedding in the vineyards of Long Island. Despite the rain, Mike & Jenn's wedding was a beautiful testimony to the kind of people they really are. It truly was an honor to photograph their day.

Jenn & Scott's Wedding 6-14-09

June 14th, Jenn & Scott wed at the Cliff House in Manitou Springs. It was a very intimate and special wedding as you could feel the love around them. What a perfect wedding for a perfect couple - all the best!

Brandie & Matthew's Wedding 5-30-09

On May 30th, Brandie and Matthew had a picturesque mountain wedding at the Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, CO. It poured all morning but as we all know and love Colorado, it let up just in time for the staff to run down, wipe off chairs and get the wedding off to a fantastic start!

Whew! It has been quite a busy year. And although I really wanted to keep up with the blog, my beautiful brides came first. However, we are winding down this wedding season which means lots of time to update the website, blog, and to just relax before next year!

I wanted to express our deepest gratitude in helping us win 3rd place in Fox 21's "Best of" competition back in May. We couldn't have done it without our friends, family, and clients and we love all of you! We are so proud and your comments were just the icing on the cake. Thank you!

Finally, I'll be putting up some highlights from this wedding season. It will take a while to get everyone up here, but I will get it done!

To start things off, Mike & Jenna were married May 23 at the Pinery. The place was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter couple. All the best to you both!

Fox 21's A-List

We were lucky enough to be nominated in Fox 21's A-List under wedding photographers. Thanks to all of our wonderful friends and fans, we are currently in 3rd place! It would truly be an honor to reach 1st, so if you haven't done so, please get on there and VOTE!

Trash the Dress Promotion

It has been nearly a year since my first trash the dress session! I have come a long way since then. So, I was thinking it is time for an update. I am looking for a couple to do a trash the dress session. I was hoping for something urban - maybe Manitou Springs or I would even be willing to head up to Denver for some big city fun. :-) 

Requirements:

- Must have your own wedding dress and tuxedo (can be rented). We will not actually trash the dress, we are actually very nice to the dress.

- Couple must sign a model release.

- Full Resolution Disk with printing rights

Prom Fashion Show

On Thursday, the 23rd, I had the pleasure of photographing a prom fashion show on Ft. Carson. As i had never attended the Prom Fashion Show at our school, I had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be a lot of fun. The girls had a ball trying all the dresses on and I got some really cute shots of them. 

New website has been launched!

After months of painful planning, the new website has been launched! Of course, with any new website, there will be problems. If you do happen to encounter one of those little gremlins, please let me know so that I can hopefully make it all better. In a month or two, I hope to have an html version for those who enjoy their iPods and dial-up. :-) Let me know what you all think of it!

PPA Wedding Shoot

On Monday, April 13th, I had the pleasure of attending a wedding photography workshop up at the Inn at Palmer Divide. This was my first time shooting there, so it was a lot of fun! To be honest, I was really overwhelmed at first - there were so many photographers and they were all running into each other and bashing lenses - it was a real mosh pit. :-) Below is a short slideshow from the session.
